Overview Apple Health On-device data Drink lookup Notifications What we do not do Your choices Retention Children Changes Contact

Fit Beer compares the active calories on your devices with drink-calorie estimates. Your Apple Health data is processed on your devices and is not sent to the developer.

01 Overview

This policy explains what information Fit Beer uses, why it uses it, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.

02 Apple Health

With your permission, Fit Beer can read workouts and active energy from Apple Health. It uses that information to calculate today’s beer equivalents, weekly and all-time totals, and the calories remaining to the next drink equivalent.

The Apple Watch app can save workouts that you start in Fit Beer back to Apple Health. Apple Health controls those permissions, and you can change them at any time in the Health app or Settings.

03 On-device data

Fit Beer stores your selected drink target, custom or imported drink targets, notification preference, and Watch or complication state locally on your devices using Apple-provided storage. These settings are used only to make the app work for you.

04 Drink lookup

The current release uses a built-in drink catalog and local calorie estimates. Search text is not sent to the developer or to a third-party search service. If a future release enables online lookup, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.

05 Notifications

If you turn on milestone alerts, Fit Beer can schedule a local notification when your active calories cross another whole drink-equivalent threshold. The calculation and notification scheduling happen on your device.

06 What we do not do

  • Fit Beer does not require an account.
  • Fit Beer does not include ads, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
  • Fit Beer does not sell personal data.
  • Fit Beer does not share your personal data with advertising, analytics, or data-broker services.
  • Fit Beer does not use Health data for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
  • Fit Beer does not send Apple Health workout or active-energy data to the developer’s server in the current version.

These statements describe the Fit Beer app. This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count anonymous page views without cookies. It does not receive data from Fit Beer or Apple Health.

07 Your choices

You choose whether to grant Health and notification permissions. You can review or revoke Health access in the Health app or Settings, turn off Fit Beer notifications in Settings, change your drink target in the app, or stop using the app.

08 Retention and deletion

Local Fit Beer settings remain on your devices until you change them or delete the app. Apple Health controls the Health data stored in its system. Deleting Fit Beer does not necessarily delete workouts already saved to Apple Health; you can view or delete those records in the Health app.

09 Children

Fit Beer is not directed to children. It is a fitness-calorie comparison tool and does not sell or supply alcohol.

10 Changes to this policy

If Fit Beer’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice when required.
